Brandt is a Mexican-American copywriter, speechwriter and comedy writer.
In advertising, he’s currently a freelance Associate Creative Director for Spotify. He has also written for agencies like Wieden+Kennedy, ATTN, and Big Spaceship for brands like Barbie, McDonald’s, American Girl Doll, and Google.
On the TV side, he has written for Mike Judge’s “Beavis and Butt-Head” on Comedy Central, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock’s “Mr. Mayor” on NBC, and “Good Mythical Morning” on YouTube.
Before writing for fictional political figures, he wrote for real ones. He’s written jokes and material for First Lady Michelle Obama, the famously hilarious/successful Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, and was a speechwriter for the New York City Mayor’s Office from December 2017 to June 2019.
